5/25/2023 0 Comments Tpl vs dplIt's been a while since I dug into programming for other brands so without digging through a couple different computers I cannot say for certain that non-Motorola equipment allows for changing the transmit reverse burst timing. In the later Moto lines starting with CPS programmed radios IIRC, there is a check box in the CPS to allow "Non-Standard PL" or as the following help files indicate, other names, all relating to how the subscriber radio transmits CTCSS tone. This statement tells me that the LMR radios are likely to be Motorola products. "MTR2000 built in (crash on ham radios, clear on LMR radios)" Many ham radios do not employ any form of reverse burst instead simply stopping the CTCSS tone generation with the release of the PTT.
